Who/what is the ssblogbot? You'll find the ssblogbot from time to time sitting in the #scriptschool chat channel. This bot is used for creating a collaborative weblog (better known as blog) for Script School. Here's how easy it is to interact and collaborate with the ssblogbot:

Post a URL: - ssblogbot will respond to a posted URL in the #scriptschool channel on a line all alone like this:

http://www.scriptschool.com/commons/

ssblogbot will reply with a label, say "A" in the following example, like this:
<ssblogbot>:#scriptschool- A:http://www.scriptschool.com/commons/ from TDavid

Append comments to URL: type using the code:
A:you can find the Script School java chatroom by following this link

Add title to URL using this code:
A:|Script School Commons - Java chat

Make a mistake? You can change this title simply by posted a new piped comment, which will automatically over-ride the previous one.

Post short notes without URLs:

Add a blurb with an inline link (or links):

* the Script School blog is coming soon and will contain some and/or all of the information that is being gathered by the ssblogbot. The ssblogbot does *NOT* grab any information in private messages, only those offered in the public #scriptschool channel.

Please do NOT spam ssblogbot!!! (The channel @op will kick your ass from the channel if you do this and delete your URL anyway). Instead, use the bot to share information, URLs and images that you think will be beneficial to Script School students and adult webmasters (our target audience). The line between dropping into the channel, spamming ssblogbot and leaving and sticking around the channel and actually participating and helping other webmaters is pretty clear.
