<TiBo> I think that the chalk on chalkboard background looks cool, but I think it makes it look like there's more to read there than there actually is.
<TiBo> and the lack of paragraph breaks sometimes makes it look like a chore to read also in spots.
<TDavid> hmmm, well it's different than the other tutorials, which is nice, but it should be easy to print out though
<TiBo> It might work better if more examples were broken out into samples.
<TiBo> I think there are a lot of concepts thrown into week 1 also.

<TiBo> I'm not sure if someone who never looked at programming before could actually wrap their brain around then all at once.
<TiBo> On the first page, where it says != in the text it would be better if that was in the font from the sample.

<TiBo> No.  That works fine at that size.

<TDavid> we're also taking over all the old script school archives, which amount to about 1 gig now
<TDavid> so all archives will stream off of script school someday soon
<TiBo> Everyone that ever seems to pass through the Flowery Branch studios seems to indicate that Dokk really knows where all the wires go and everything.
<TDavid> yeah, he does :) The only real reason I want to start doing the streams again is so that I can do some creative things with the archives and scripting
<TDavid> can't do it on NT server since I don't know a whole lot about NT
<TDavid> we're getting enough content now so that it can be broken up
<TDavid> and databased
<TiBo> When is the Netsurprise football picks thingie set to start?
<TDavid> it is already started :)

<TDavid> the first week starts Sept 9

<TDavid> you could submit all your picks for the entire 17 weeks actually
<TDavid> the computer did pretty good last year, might be worth going with its algoritm in the first couple weeks anyway lol
